fStop is a Berlin-based photo agency that launched in 2002 with the goal of providing the design community with an alternative to the cliché-ridden world of stock photography.

As part of Fontshop International, a company which was founded by designers Erik Spiekermann and Neville Brody in the late 80s, and is best known for the success of its typefaces, fStop has always had strong ties to the world of design and a knowledge of which photographs make sense in that context. We now work with a core group of roughly 150 hand-picked photographers from around the globe and have distribution arrangements with what we feel are the most relevant and reliable partners for selling stock photography in the world today.
